UPHC is responsible accused of harassing staff, probes

Ghaziabad: Responsible for the urban primary health center (UPHC) has been accused of harassing his staff members physically and mentally.
In their complaints to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the staff accused that the in-charge center is largely drunk and bad behavior with everyone.

Bhavtosh Shankhdar has ordered an investigation of this problem.
An action tends to be taken after an investigation into allegations.
UPHC is located in the Trans-Hindon area and 18 staff posted there.
Among the complainants, 14 is a member of a female staff.
In the letter, the responsible person was also accused of using rough language and issued threats to people.
“He often makes efforts to harass women’s staff sexually.
When we try to fight their progress, he gives us a threat of work.
He talks about physical violence and even hurts our family members to prevent us from filing complaints,” the letter said.
The complainant said the defendant did not only come under the influence of alcohol, but also called his colleagues and drink alcohol with them in the middle of it himself.
“The defendant also abuses remuneration and marks us absent even when we come to the office.
This has been going on for the past two years and all staff are very frightened by his antics,” the letter was read.
Staff demanded that strict actions must be taken to countermeasures, in addition to moving it to another center.
They also tried to keep their name anonymous.
