Lucknow: Anandiben Governor Patel in a meeting online review of the Medical University of Raja George (KGMU) and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMu) on Friday directing institutions to use digital locking facilities to upload degrees and certificates of students.
DigiLocker, central government initiative, allows government documents to be saved and easily accessed 24×7 from anywhere with simple verification through Aadhar.
The governor also requested a student degree to be sent to them by post as soon as possible and for the initial vaccination of students, parents and patient officers.
This, he directs, must be done by holding a special vaccination camp for them, ensuring 100% vaccination.
“The governor requested two medical universities to regulate the degree and certificate of students to be stored in digital lockers.
This will give students the ease of accessing their documents anytime and from anywhere.
Degrees and delayed documents must be sent immediately to students through posting,” said press release issued by the Governor’s office.
During the meeting, the Head of Tiwari RK Secretary suggested that in the future all state universities choose full online documentation.
The governor also requested that the recruitment of health staff at approved and empty posts carried out according to the timeline set for it in a transparent and advertising method for the same published clearly mentioning the terms and conditions for posting.
He said that all university legal cases closed took the appropriate steps and no outsiders were allowed to stay in a hostel at any cost.
