PRAYAGRAJ: After postponing some exams in the last couple of months because of the Covid-19 pandemic, authorities of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) have released a revised calendar for recruitment exams set to be held in 2021-22.
The calendar has been made available on the official website of the commission—uppsc.up.nic.in.
Earlier this year, UPPSC had released the exam calendar on January 15, but due to the pandemic, the commission could not conduct five scheduled recruitment exams set to be held between April and June this year, necessitating this latest revision of the exam calendar.
According to Arvind Kumar Mishra, exam controller of UPPSC, as per the revised exam calendar, Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (prelims) Examination-2021, commonly known as PCS (Prelims)-2021, will now be conducted on October 24 this year, followed by its mains examination on January 28, 2022.
Likewise, the Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer (ACF/RFO) prelims exam-2021 will also be held on the same date (October 24), followed by the mains examination on March 7, 2022.
