Letter: The police restored the body of an 18-day-old baby from the river but on the Jilan Bridge on Sunday morning.
The baby who died allegedly thrown into the river by his mother Sahin Shaikh (39) on Friday after he fought with her husband.
However, the woman then made the story of kidnapping her daughter and filed a false complaint at the Sachin Gidc police station on Saturday.
As long as it was questioned, the woman continued to change her statement several times before admitted to the police that she had threw a girl to the river from Bridge Hope.
The woman told the police that she was upset because of a dispute with Haron’s husband and annoyed with his parents who refused to help him resolve the dispute with her husband.
“The child’s body is found from under Jilani Bridge on Sunday.
After completing some formalities, violations will be registered.
The police will take further action after the complaint is registered,” said a police officer at the Rander Police Station.
Accused, who had separated from his first husband about a year ago contrary to the wishes of his parents, began living with Haroon, a driver of the Autorickshaw, in the UNN Nagar area.
Meanwhile, he gave birth to a baby girl recently.
The couple has developed differences in recent weeks and will fight for small problems.
“On Friday, Shaikh went to his parents’ house to complain about Haroon, but his parents refused to support him.
Angry was not supported, the woman then went to the bridge and threw a baby on the river,” said a police officer.
