HYDERABAD:”Upset over being scolded by her own parents to spending a great deal of time on her cell phone, a 16 year-old woman supposedly committed suicide ,” authorities said on Saturday.
“The woman, who recently finished her 10th regular, abandoned house on Friday night without notifying her parents, after they started a hunt for her.
She moved into a bare place, poured kerosene on her entire body and put himself up,” police said.
Locals alerted the authorities and they hurried to the place today and discovered her cellular phone too nearby.
Police responded a call by her parents asked them to identify the body, and that they did.
“A case under Section 174 of CrPc (authorities to request and report suicide) was filed after a complaint with her dad,” he said.
