WASHINGTON: The United States announced on Friday sanctions on 34 companies and other entities involved with China’s military and policy on Uyghur Muslim minorities, and to facilitate exports to Russia and Iran.
This group is approved “because of their involvement, or the risk of being involved in, activities contrary to foreign policy and US national security interests,” the Ministry of Trade said in a statement.
