Washington: United States, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan will create a new rectangular diplomatic group to promote the Afghan peace process, stability and trade in the region, notify the US State Department on Friday.
In a press release, the State Department said, “US representatives, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan agreed in principle to form a four-fold diplomatic platform that focuses on increasing regional connectivity.” The State Department said that the parties considered peace and long-term stability in Afghanistan which was critical of regional connectivity and agreed that the connectivity of peace and regional regionally.
The parties see group formation as a means to increase regional trade, build new transit routes and strengthen business bonds.
“The parties have agreed to hold meetings in the coming months to discuss the details of their future cooperation, which is expected to be based on the shared consensus,” said his broadcast.

Drawdown is set to finish at the end of August.
