Washington: The US has announced an additional $ 41 million assistance to help India respond to Covid pandemic and strengthen the state’s readiness for future health emergencies, taking total assistance of more than $ 200 million.
In April and May, India struggled with a second wave of covid pandemic with more than 3,00,000 new cases every day.
The hospital is shaken by lack of medical oxygen and bed.
“India comes to US assistance during the future of this country, and now the US stands with the Indian people,” said the US International Development Agency on Monday.
