Washington: The US has appointed the Indian-American career atul Keshap career, an old Indian in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a matter of state content in Delhi.
“The appointment of the AMBASSADOR KESHAP will strengthen the Partnership of the US close with the Government and Indian society, which is demonstrated by our collaboration to overcome global challenges such as Pandemi -19 Pandemi,” said the US State Department in a statement on Tuesday.
Keshap, 50, a career member of a senior foreign service, will depart for New Delhi to serve as a d’affaires fee, interim advertising, following the retirement of Duta Daniel Smith, he said.
“Sways will bring a lot of experience role, after being served earlier at the US New Delhi Embassy and as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia,” said the statement.
