US, Canada agreed to launch a dialogue to harmonize the approach in China

WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden and Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have agreed to launch a dialogue about the Indo-Pacific to promote regional security and straighten their approach in China.
In a statement, the White House said Biden met Trudaye on Thursday to review the implementation of road maps for updated As-Canada partnerships launched in February 2021 to revitalize their strategic partnerships.

The President and Prime Minister discussed extensive cooperation about security and committed to strengthening cooperation between five-eye countries.
“They are committed to building strategic dialogue on the Indo-Pacific to promote regional security, legal supremacy, good governance; to harmonize our approach in China and the People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK); and emphasize their strategic dialogue on Arctic cooperation,” The statement was read.
“The two leaders are also committed to continuing close collaboration in Haiti, including strengthening the capacity of Haiti National Police and supporting inclusive political dialogue.
They also promised to pass for foreigners and Afghanistan, resettlement, and cooperation of counter-terrorism,” statement added.
