“This launch violates several UN Security Council resolutions and pursues a threat to neighbors of the DPRK and the international community,” said a Foreign Ministry spokesman, referring to the North with his official name, the Republic of the Korean Democratic People.
“We remain committed to diplomatic approaches to the DPRK and call them to be involved in dialogue,” he said.
