WASHINGTON: US officials have met with a Senior Taliban representative in Qatar to discuss security and human rights in Afghanistan, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sunday.
Delegates between US players fly to Doha on Saturdays and Sundays for talks “focusing on security and terrorism concerns and safe passages for US citizens, other foreign nationals and our Afghan partners,” according to the price of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Another focus area is “human rights, including significant participation for women and girls in all aspects of the Afghanistan community,” said the price in a statement.
