US donated 100,000 covid-19 pfizer vaccines arrived at Nepal

Kathmandu: As many as 100,620 doses of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine donated by the United States arrived at Kathmandu on Monday.
Senide KeyvanShad, the Mission Director of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nepal, submitted the delivery of the coronavirus vaccine given to Nepal at the grant.
Delivery received by Health Secretary Dr.
Roshan Pokhrel today.
The Health Secretary said that vaccine assistance would help fight Pandemic Covid-19.
With this donation, the Nepalese government plans to examinate people over the age of 12 and those who suffer from chronic health diseases.
The USAID mission director expressed happiness because he had the opportunity to join hands with Nepal in the war against a pandemic.
As well as he is committed that the Himalayas will also get a dose of additional Pfizer vaccines that day to come.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Nepal Dr.
Krishna Prasad Poudel said the vaccine would be given to people above 12, and patients with chronic diseases.
“Vaccination will start from 23 hospitals in the country after the Chhath Festival,” said Poudel.
In addition, the government Sher Bahadur deuba is preparing to bring an additional six million doses of Pfizer and four million doses of modern vaccines from the US.
