The United States is reviewing the need for a third-19 Covid-19 booster shot between residents who have been vaccinated but need to see more data to find out whether additional shots can increase the risk of people to serious side effects, a US health official said Tuesday.
The US government has not made the decision whether to manage booster shots to the population but see a greater potential need for them among parents and other groups with high risk for severe infections, said Jay Butler, Deputy Director at the US Disease Center and Prevention, During media direction.
