WASHINGTON: US entrepreneurs set a record of 10.1 million job openings in June, another sign that the labor market and the economy bounced back quickly from last year’s Coronavirus shutdown.
Job openings rose from 9.5 million in May, the Ministry of Manpower reported Monday.
Employers employ 6.7 million workers in June.
The gap between openings and recruitment shows that the company scrambles to find workers.
