WASHINGTON: United States Secretary Antony Blinken is set to allocate $ 130 million in military assistance which was originally destined for Egypt with other national security priorities after failing to meet the human rights requirements set by Biden administration, said Department of Foreign Affairs on Friday.
“While the Secretary does not make a final decision, if there is no major development over the next few days, the Secretary will reprogram $ 130 million for other national security priorities,” said an official who briefed to reporters in anonymous condition.
