US organisation to Contribute cremation furnace: Darbhanga DM

DARBHANGA: Kabir Seva Sansthan (KSS), a community social organisation established at 2014 for burial and cremation of unclaimed anatomy in addition to for supplying help to relatives struggling to manage cremation/burial of the kin, was doing a yeoman service along with its own function in disposing of many bodies of Covid sufferers has attracted the interest of an American firm, the Federation of Indian Association (FIA), that has made a decision to contribute some gas-cum-electric cremation furnace for many bodies in Mukti Dham, a funeral place in Bhigo Mohalla here. Darbhanga DM Thyagrajan S M Sunday reported that an FIA representative approached him to receive the contribution of furnace and has been awarded green signal following approval by the district crisis management authority and also an NOC by Darbhanga Municipal Corporation. “The KSS assists the government in control of tissues,” that the DM said, including an engineer by a Haryana-based firm visited the Mukti Dham on Friday for overseeing the possibility of installment of continuing furnace. “The furnace is anticipated to become operational from the very first week of June,” that the DM stated the FIA will cover the firm for installation of this equipment.
