WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden on Wednesday nominated Indian-American Arun Venkataraman to Its director-general of Their US and International commercial Support and Also the assistant secretary for International markets from the Division of Trade.

According to a White House readout, Venkataraman has more than twenty decades of experience advising businesses, international organisations and the US authorities on international trade problems. He’s now the counsellor to the secretary of trade, advising the section on commerce and other global financial issues. Arun was also a senior manager at Visa, also a major international authorities involvement plan on a selection of worldwide policy issues such as digital market, commerce, taxation and sanctions.
