WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden said on Saturday that his government had a tool to handle high oil prices after OPEC and his allied rejected our request for producers to pump more crude oil than they had planned.
“There are other tools in Arsenal that we have to face with other countries at the right time,” said Biden when asked by a reporter at the White House whether he would ratify sales from US strategic petroleum reserves after OPEC, Russia and the State Other countries condemn US applications.
Oil prices have reached more than $ 80 per barrel, raising fuel prices for consumers.
