WASHINGTON: President Joe Biden on Tuesday stated the confidence that the United States was on the right track in the battle of the Covid-19 pandemic, even when the country wrestled with a surge in infection triggered by the omicron variant spread rapidly.
White House officials said the situation was different from the previous stage of the pandemic because more people got protection from vaccination and booster shots.
“I’m sure we are on the right track,” Biden told reporters on Tuesday.
