Washington: White House spokesman Jen PSaki told reporters on Tuesday that US President Joe Biden was very involved in negotiations on the legislation of expenditure he was trying to get through the US Congress.
Biden met two moderate senates, Joe Manchin from West Virginia and Krysten Sinema Arizona, to discuss expenditure plans.
PSAKI said Biden operated in Lockstep with the top two Democrats in Congress, the speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and the majority leader of the Senate Schumer Senate.
