And at Nevada Governor plans to declare an emergency because of the condition of snow and storm that affects the journey in the Lake Tahoe area in North Nevada.
The fortune tellers said the parts of West Washington can see up to 3 inches (7.6 cm) Thursday snow and Northwest Oregon can see the same amount.
The part that is usually from the Pacific Northwest has shivered with a temperature of one digit in several regions of this week after the extreme cold air from the Fraser Canada River Valley on Sundays.
Snow and ice have made dangerous travel in several parts, forced closure and late travel and encourage people to take refuge in emergency heating centers.
Temperature can rise above freezing in Seattle Thursday and even warmer in Portland, before the airflow from the Pacific blows on weekends and causes mercury to rise to more seasons in the 40s of Fahrenheit (4.4 Celsius).
State officials in Oregon have stated emergencies.
In Multnomah Regency – home to Portland – about half a dozen weather shelter open this week.
A number of similar shelters opened in Seattle’s King County, which was also declared emergency.
Seattle leaders said City shelter would remain open through the new year.
Winter weather and return to the pre-Pandemic traffic level have produced hundreds of accidents on the Oregon road this holiday season.
Oregon Public Broadcasting reported that between December 23 and December 28 there were 915 traffic accidents in the state.
During the same period last year there were 365 accidents and 237 in 2019, according to the Oregon state police.
The number of deaths has not been taken into account.
David House, spokesman for the Oregon Transportation Department, said the high number of accidents during the past week was a reminder of travelers to be careful and prepared neat conditions.
“If you can sit fast for a few more days, just avoid getting out, it will be the safest thing you can do,” Houses said.

Steve admitted that the emergency declaration would allow state officials to order vehicles traveling on the mountain highway to turn and return to lower altitudes until the weather conditions subside and the streets were safe to use.
“This will help prevent motorists to be stranded overnight on the highway, potentially run out of gas in subfreezing temperatures without access to emergency services,” said the statement.
It is said to US 50 and state 207 and 28 experienced a long delay and dangerous conditions and that the authorities need to be able to clean the highway to provide space for emergency vehicles and snow plows.
