US, Russian military head discussed international security by telephone

Moscow: General Top from Russia and the United States spoke by telephone on Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said, amid western concern that Moscow might plan to attack Ukraine.
The ministry said in a statement that Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov and chairman of his own head Mark Milley staff discussed “current questions about international security”, without providing further details.
Western countries have raised alarms about Russian military activities reported near Ukraine with the growth of allegations that Moscow planned an invasion.
Moscow has rejected this claim.
Last week, Ukraine said he was looking for more military assistance from Western allies.
On Tuesday, two patrol ships were sent to the Ukrainian Navy by the United States arrived at the South Port Odessa.
Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that every US step to send more hardware and military advisors to Ukraine would only increase further tension.
The Ukrainian Army has been locked in a boiling conflict with pro-Russian separatists in two separating areas that borders Russia since 2014, after Moscow gave an example of Crimea.
Kiev and West Allies accused Russia to send troops and armed borders to support separatists – claiming Moscow denied.
