Washington: Biden Administration, under pressure from the victim’s family on the September 11, 2001 attack, said on Monday that it was intended to reveal several old documents classified that family thinking could detail the relationship between the Saudi Arabian government and the hijackers who carried out attacks.
In the court submitted in the long-term litigation brought by the families of the victims against Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Justice said that the FBI “recently” closed a portion of his investigation into a terrorist attack and began a review of documents that had previously been said to remain secret with the eyes revealed more from them.
“The FBI has decided to review previous prior rights statements to identify additional information that is appropriate for disclosure,” said the department in a letter to two federal judges in Manhattan oversee this case.
“The FBI will reveal such information with the basis of the pulver as soon as possible.” The letter does not provide further details about what additional information will become the public.
The decision came after the group representing more than 1,600 people affected by the attack which was called last week for President Joe Biden not to participate in any warning warning for the 20th anniversary of the next month’s attack to review documents to review.
Possible declassification and release.
They have pushed four US presidents, with a little success, to release more information about Saudi’s involvement in financing attacks.
