Brussels: US special representatives for Afghanistan Tom West on Monday (local time) said that Washington was worried about the surge in attack by the Islamic state in Afghanistan and still worried about the presence of Al Qaeda in the country.
The new US special messenger was appointed talking to reporters by telephone from Belgium, where he gave a briefing of NATO allies on issues about Afghanistan, ToloNews reported.
