US universities see a decline in foreign students during a pandemic: survey

New York: A survey released on Monday shows that because of Covid-19 pandemic, the number of foreign students studying at US Higher Education Institutions has declined sharply for the school year starting this fall, according to US broadcaster.

Research conducted by the New York-Markastered Institute of International Education sinces nearly 3,000 higher education institutions in the US, American voices report.

Safe! You have managed to throw your voteogin to see the results show that the number of registration is cut by 45.6 percent for new students and 15 percent for international students, the Xinhua news agency reported.
Students from China and India continue to dominate registration in US universities and universities.
The number of students from China decreased by 14.8 percent from the previous year and students from India fell 13.2 percent, according to the survey.
