Choosing a college department is never easy and there are many factors to consider before doing it.
Some say that pursuit of passion is the best strategy while others argue that a decent salary is good after graduating and then in a career more important.
Ideally, prospective students will enjoy the best of both worlds.
However, if a salary is an important factor, there are differences seen in the initial wages of career between schools and institutions that focus on the stem tend to come out.
It was according to Payscale analysis which showed that Samuel Merritt University had the highest salary for undergraduate graduates during their early career where they could hope to take home $ 93,900 every half year for the first five years.
High School is located in Oakland, California, and it is a private university specializing in health science with courses such as nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy and podiatry drugs offered.
Other private institutions – Harvey Mudd College – Present second with Bachelor graduates made $ 91,400 during the beginning of their career on average.
Harvey Mudd College is located in Claremont, California, and has a heavy focus on science and engineering.
With an average salary of $ 88,300 for undergraduate graduates, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was present in the list.
Although it is assumed that the best initial salary goes to holders of titles from Ivy League schools such as Harvard or Princeton, the highest median salary is more often to students who attend small universities with strong technical programs, according to Payscale.
Most of the high institutions in the Payscale list have one thing in common: they produce many other engineers and workers with valuable rod qualifications.
