User costs increase, there is no tax increase

Letter: Propose the Budget of Rs 6,970 Crore for 2022-2023, Municipal Corporation (SMC) letters avoid tax increases, but increase user costs for various properties.
The cost for environmental improvement has also been revised for greater properties.
During this year, SMC spent around Hospital 350 Crore for improving health infrastructure to fight with Covid-19, where most of the state government grants.
SMC also budgeted RS 118 Crore to expand infrastructure in the Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research (Smimer) and RS 32 Crore for Medical College Hostel.
From the street lights 1.54 lakh, 1.28 lakh has been converted to the led while the remaining 26,605 is converted this year.
To become independent in electricity generation, SMC will utilize land that is not used to develop solar power plants.
As a trial project, the solar plant will be developed on the BRTS track too.
By producing clean energy, SMC plans to get Rs 75 Lakh through 75,000 reductions of certified emissions (CER).
About five km portion of the length of the outer ring road that connects Hazira-Sayan Road to the Olpad Road will be completed this year at a cost of Rs 63 Crore.
With the cost of Rs 61 Crore, Siddharth Nagar Rail Overbridge to Bhimrad Khadi Bridge will be converted to CC Road.
Popular Theater Hall, Gandhi Smruti Bhavan Redevelopment will be resolved at a cost of Rs 31 Crore.
