New York: The United States Tennis Association (Usta) announced the mental health initiative for the players on Tuesday, with the main US Open lottery kicking next week.
Competitors in Flushing Meadows will have access to “Comprehensive Medical Services Program,” tournaments that will include access to mental health providers and “quiet rooms” on the site, Usta said in a written statement.
“The problem of mental health awareness has been brought to the front line during a global pandemic trip, because many individuals, who are included by players, have struggled with pressure and emotions that have come as a result of Covid-19,” we opened the Director of the Stacey Anglas tournament.

Brian Hautline, USTA’s first vice president and a professor of neurology at the University of Indiana and New York University, said he hoped the program would increase accessibility to mental health support.
“Our goal is to make mental health services available for athletes as services for dislocated ankles – and without stigma attached,” Hautline said.
“We will provide an environment that grows health.”
