Surat: Daman and Diu government distributed Rs 69.85 lakh into 29 fishermen on Saturday as a part of their relief cash after their ships suffered significant damage caused by cyclone Tauktae that resisted the Gujarat shore in May.
The vast majority of those calamity-hit anglers belong to Diu.
The supply occasion has been stored in Diu in existence of Praful Patel, manager of Dadra and Nagar Haveli (DNH) and Diu and Daman (DD).
