UT makes strict anti-cattle cutting laws

New Delhi: The Union region that joins from Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and DIU will now have more stringent provisions in their laws on the massacre of cattle, including the prohibition of cattle transportation, calves, bulls, bulls, bullocks and cows in UT.
For the purpose of massacre and the introduction of higher punishment – starting from 10 years in prison to serve a life sentence and a fine between Rs 1 Lakh to RS 5 Lakh.
According to the Union Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Daman (Adaptation of the State Law), 2022, was notified by the Ministry of Houses Union on Tuesday, Bombay Animal Preservation Act, 1954, as applicable to Dadra, Istore and Nagar Haveli and which Valid in Gujarat, as well as prevention of Goa, Daman and Diu of the Slaught Slaught Law, as applicable to Estwhile UT from Daman and DIU, now stands changed and will apply to Dadra and Nagar combined with Haveli and Daman and Daman.
