Kollam: Defense argument in the case of Uthra’s murder continued in the 6th additional session court, Kollam, on Tuesday.
Defense lawyer Ajit Prabhav argues that Snake Chavarkadu Suresh’s statement that he handed Viper to the main allegations of Sooraj as he was asked to catch mice from the agricultural land could not be trusted.
“No one will buy a snake to catch mice.
So Suresh’s claim that he sells the snake to Sooraj cannot be trusted,” he said.
Special Prosecutor G Mohanraj shows that no one will tell the truth that he bought a poisonous snake as part of committing murder.
“Suresh from Chavarkadu, Kalluvathukkal, hasn’t met Sooraj on February 18, 2020 in Chatannur and in Enathu on April 24, 2020.
The location of the phone should not be considered proof,” Prabhav said.
He argued that Uthra did not experience snake bites and he sought care for drug reactions.
However, hospital officials had given the medicine for Snake Bite, which he claimed.
The court issued an order to ensure the presence of Sooraj in court only through online mode.
