Panaji: Parragar Utpal, the son of the former Minister of Manohar Parragar, on Wednesday met with the former Head of RSS Subhash Velasar at his residence to find an upcoming assembly statue.
During the meeting, Velingkar repeated his support to Utpal which fought as independent of the Panaji Constituency.
On Wednesday, after the Utpal meeting with Velasar, the last son, Shailendra, said, “It is important that Panaji residents stand strongly with Utpal.
Politics should not be centered around securing power, but must be centered around social development.
Seeing the political situation when It is in the state, Utpal has taken excellent steps and needs to be supported.
“Velingkar was a mentor of Parragar, until their relationship worsened about the issue of government funds to the English-Medium Primary School.
When Parragar refused to return to make decisions about Velakar’s request, both of them could not improve their relationship.
VeLingkar also parted ways with RSS on this issue.
However, when Utpal did not include BJP tickets from Panaji for this poll and decided to compete as independent, Velasar revealed full support.
Velakar Shailendra’s son was given a Shiv Sena ticket from Panaji, but Velasar blocked his son to fight for the polls to support Utpal and Shailendra out of the commotion.
Utpal said he was fighting for a poll to present a clean option, because BJP had provided a ticket to Astanasio Monserrate.
