The UTS train ticket booking application will now be available in Hindi too.
In-house developed by Indian Railways this application is only available in English until now.
In accordance with the ministry, the application currently has around 1.47 crore registered users.
This application allows users to order tickets without understanding using various digital payment options such as railmals, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, upi and e-wallet.
Rel-wallet users also get a 5% bonus on refill.
Tickets are conventional and bring up for sale at the Railway Station counter book counter.
With the intention of reducing passenger waiting times in the booking counter, train ticket agents and automatic vending machines are automatically introduced as additional sales places at Indian stations.
However, the physical presence of customers is needed on these three sales points.
To use the service provided by the application, you can download it from the Play Store or App Store.
After you register in the application using the name, cellphone number, and other information needed.
You will receive OTP on the registered cellphone number and after you enter OTP, enter and password to access the account will be sent to your mobile number.
UTS application was first launched in December 2014 after that the system was tested on the safety, security and customer experience parameters and then breed throughout the edges of Mumbai.
Gradually the mobile ticket application is expanded to the city of Metro Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Secunderabad between 2015-17.
From November 2018 and so on applications are available for Inter Zonal Travel too i.e.
Between each station pair above all Indian trains in the normal ticket pattern.
