LUCKNOW: Using 1,092 new Covid-19 instances and 120 deaths reported from Uttar Pradesh, that the death toll from the country increased to 21,151, although the disease tally touched 16,97,352, officials said on Saturday.
Of those 120 latest deaths, 12 were reported in Gorakhpur, 11 in Ayodhya, besides Saharanpur, eight in Bareilly, seven in Lucknow and Shahjahanpur, amongst others, as reported by a health department .
Of the 1,092 new coronavirus instances, 57 have now been reported by Lucknow, 46 in Muzaffarnagar, 45 in Varanasi, 43 by Gautam Budhnagar and 40 from Meerut and Agra, amongst others, ” stated.
