MORADABAD: three members of a household one of four men had been found dead in the cellar of a cement shop in Rajpur Kesaria village beneath Dilari police station region, authorities said Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Moradabad, Pawan Kumar stated prima facie, it appears that the dead died of suffocation because of inhaling poisonous gas discharged by the half-dry dung cakes saved in the cellar.
The incident happened when Rajendra (50), his sons Harkesh (30) and also Preetam (25), along with their slave Ramesh (40) were operating in an underground cement shop at Monday night, authorities said.
About 11pm, Rajendra’s wife called them out after getting no answer she advised the authorities who touched the place and discovered the victims’ bodies lying around the ground.
The bodies have been sent to post-mortem and forensic experts are analyzing the episode, the SSP said, adding that the true cause of death is going to be determined after the record.
