LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) on Sunday declared the test formula to the preparation of outcomes of Class 10 and 12 UP Board pupils whose assessments have been cancelled in light of this Covid-19 pandemic.
Deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma, who’s also the minister for both higher and secondary education, said the pupils of UP Board Class 12 will be granted marks on the test formulation of 50:40:10.
“At the last result, 50 percent weightage will be given to marks performed by pupils from Class 10, 40 percent into the marks performed in Class 11 (half-yearly/annual evaluation ) and 10% is going to be based on marks obtained from Class 12 (Pre-Board evaluation ),” that the deputy CM mentioned.
“For Course 10, the test formulation is going to be 50:50 — 50 percent weightage will be given to marks fastened in Class 9 (half-yearly/annual evaluation ) and the remainder is going to be on the basis of marks secured in Class 10 Pre-Board evaluation,” he explained.

“The state government has chosen to pass 29,94,312 applicants of high school and 26,10,316 pupils of intermediate with no assessments.
A committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the additional principal secretary, secondary schooling, Aradhana Shukla, to determine the formulation for high intermediate and school board examination success.
Ideas were encouraged by the public before compiling the formulation,” the deputy chief minister stated.
He added that as many as 3,910 tips were received from several stakeholders such as say legislators, educationists, parents, teachers, and many others.
“Following the ideas, the committee prepared the formulation in the interest of pupils.
To assess its own students, the state government has employed another formula in comparison with Central Board of Secondary Education since the schooling system/process of those 2 boards differs.
It had been for the very first time that Pre-Board tests were held at UP Board while it’s an obsolete practice in the event of CBSE Board,” he explained.
Total 56,04,628 applicants were enrolled at 2021.
At least 29,94,312 applicants have enrolled at high school assessment, from that 29,74,487 (99.34%) are 19,825 (0.66percent ) are human candidates.
