Lucknow: The Covid-19 Tally to cross 25,974 mark on Sunday with 7,695 active cases in the last 24 hours.
Officials said that the total active case, 25,445 was in house isolation which was around 97% of the total load.
The remaining 3% are under hospitalization.
The official bulletin showed that Gautam Budh Nagar and Lucknow contributed 1,149 and 1,115 cases in the last 24 hours.
In all 16 districts see more than 100 cases.
In the case of active cases, 12 districts in the state have more than 500 cases.
From Gautam Budh Nagar this leads with 4,612 cases, followed by Lucknow (3,653), Ghaziabad (3,297), Meerut (2,519) and Varanasi (1,313).
The state also recorded the loss of four people with a pandemic infection.
Death was reported in Meerut, Prayagraj, Bulandshahr and Badun.
An official statement from the government quoted the state-level health expert advisory committee to notify people that the ‘omicron’ variant was not deadly and contagious as before, but with a mildly proven fatal.
Health officials said that nearly 73,000 supervisory committees, who played an effective role in reducing the spread of Covid-19, had been ordered to carry out intensive filtering in urban and rural areas.
The industrial unit has been asked to set up a Covid Help desk and a daily care center.
