KANPUR: A guy, belonging to the Dalit community, has sought police protection to ride a horse out of his home to a local temple to get a pre-marriage ritual ahead of his’baraat’ proceeds into the bride’s home in his wedding day.
1 Alakhram Ahirwar of all Madhavganj at Mahobkanth region of Mahoba, whose union would be solemnised on June 18, has approached local authorities seeking police protection if he is going to use a horse to get moving to get a pre-marriage ritual in his wedding day.
Locals say it’ll be likely for the very first time since Independence if a Dalit will soon be riding a horse at the village.
According to authorities, Alakhram Ahirwar, son of Gayadeen Ahirwar, had granted an attempt to Mahobkanth police urging them to provide him security for a pre-marriage ritual where he’d ride a horse and also go to a nearby temple before his own’baraat’.
Station home officer Mahobkanth Sunil Tiwari told me that the dress had granted in writing that he desired police security as he wanted to ride a horse to get a pre-marriage ritual in his marriage.
“We’ve given consent that Alakhram can meet his desire,” said Tiwari and added,”The problem is normal and there’s not any possibility of any type of disturbance.
We’ll also give safety to the applicant and expect the pre-marriage rituals are solemnised peacefully” The local panchayat also has given its approval to this Dalit to ride a horse to his own wedding day.
“There is not any objection in the panchayat facet as everybody gets got the right to ride horse irrespective of caste and religion.
We’ve ensured the groom all potential support and aid in his wedding day,” said village thoughts of Kashipur g panchayat Mahipat Shriwas.
Earlier, additionally Alakhram had sought aid from several societal organisations on social networking platforms to assist him in fulfilling his dream of driving a horse to his own wedding day.
