Uttar Pradesh: Employers died from injury during Raid in Gorakhpur, 6 police suspended

Gorakhpur: 36-year-old Real Estate Entrepreneurs from Kanpur died after receiving a severe injury when the police examined the credentials of the guests at a hotel in Gorakhpur on Monday and Tuesday night intervention.
Six police officers, including the responsible police station, who were present at the scene, had been suspended waiting for an investigation into all incidents.

Deputy Inspector General (digging) Gorakhpur Range J Ravinder Gaud told toi that a postmortem report was awaited to ensure the right cause of death.
He said that investigations were underway to describe the order of events that eventually ended in the death of the entrepreneur.
“We haven’t put aside anything until now.
We are waiting for a post-mortem examination report to determine the cause of death and all statements present at the scene before we achieve a logical conclusion,” Goud said.

On Monday morning, real estate entrepreneurs Manish Gupta from Kanpur, Pradeep Chauuhan and Hardeep Singh Chauhan, both of them from Gurugram, were checked into a hotel in Ramgarhpur Area Gorakhpur.
The three had reached Gorakhpur at the invitation of a friend of Chandan Saini, a resident of Mahadeva Bazar in the Sikriganjur area in Gorakhpur.
At night, four spent time speaking in the room after that Chandan went with plans to look around with his friends the next morning.
According to Hardeep Singh, around midnight when the police reached their room and asked him to provide evidence of his identity.
“When I asked them about how they broke through, I was slapped even after I showed them my aadhaar card.
I gave them Chandan numbers and they also talked to Him.
They then woke Manish who asked them too much to disturb them so late at night, “Hardeep said.
Because it was questioned, the police began to struggle Manish while Hardeep was taken out of the room.
A few minutes later he saw the police drag Manish out of the room.
Manish had blood on his face, said Hardeep, added that some police appeared drunk.
The police took Manish to the hospital where he died.
Then Manish’s father and wife won Gorakhpur and accused the police have mistress the businessman to death.
Taking a serious note about the incident, SSP Gorakhpur Vipin Tada said that the police team had visited the hotel as part of the check-in drive in the district.
Quoting the police attended at the scene, SSP said that Manish apparently fell from his bed and was injured because he looked very drunk.
He, however, suspended all the six police officers present at the scene including the Station House Officer of Ramgarhtal Police Inspectors JN Singh and Phalmandi Post Policy Post In-Charge Akshay Mishra and four police officers.
SP (City) Gorakhpur has been directed to investigate the incident.
