Lucknow: In an effort to improve the adoption of Sanskrit among youth in the state, the third session of free coaching to civil service candidates who choose Sanskrit language will begin from November 1.
This step is present as part of the government’s efforts to promote Sanskrit.
Candidates were encouraged to make Sanskrit as their main subject in the civil service exam.
Efforts are also made to increase the importance of Sanskrit in administrative services.
In two years, the candidate in Sanskrit has gained a position in the top 10 in the state civil service exam.
From them, four were chosen as civil servants.
Other nine eligible for other competitive exams.
Under the free training program with Sanskrit SanSthan, preparation for civil services ranging from preliminary examinations to interviews conducted for candidates to choose Sanskrit.
The whole session is 10 months, where training is carried out in three phases.
During training, experts will take aspects such as grammar, philology, philosophy, Sanskrit, prose and poetry.
Candidates for age groups from 21 to 35 who have completed their graduation or equivalent examination of UGC universities known to be eligible.
The online receipt process to register for the program starts on August 9 and will expire in September 5.
Entry checks for the third session will be carried out at the end of September in various centers in Lucknow.
The test will have 100 bi-lingual questions (Sanskrit and Hindi).
From this, 85 questions will be from general studies and 15 of the Sanskrit general knowledge, grammar and literature.
Students can register on the UPSS website, upsanskritsanshanthanam.in or upsscivil.in.
Results will be announced in October-end.
Students, who have met the initial examination of the UPSSC 2020-21 exam, will be given directly.
Below, 15 students will be taken and given RS 3,000 scholarships as long as they have 75% of attendance and a good monthly progress report.
With the aim of producing work by promoting Sanskrit in Purvanchal, the government will open a new training center at Gorakhpur at the ranks located in UPSS Lucknow, says UPS President Vachaspati Mishra.
Special classes will be taken by Sanskritologists from Delhi and Lucknow physically (offline) at a two-week or weekly interval.
Director, UPS, Pawan Kumar said efforts were made to promote Sanskrit adoption in the highest examination in the country.
