Uttar Pradesh: Gau Amritam is made of a cow urine, dirt, natural product to reach the market immediately

Prayagraj: Throwing a potential challenge for chemical-based pesticides, Gaushala based in Manikpur (Chitrakoot) has developed natural and biological pesticides from cow blessings, or cows, dirt, leaves and jaggery.
Called “Gau Amritam”, everything is set to hit the market above this week.
Volunteers related to the Gau-Raksha Vibhag Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) took the mass production of Amritam Gau in many Gaushlas in Bundelkhand, Kashi, and many areas to maintain fertility and purity of the soil.
Abhishek bajpai, convener and associated with mass production of Amritam games in Abhay Gausala, Manikpur told the toi, “For the production of 200 liters of natural pesticides (GAU-AMRITAM), we use 20 liters of Gaumutra (urine beef), five liters of Dung Cattle, 5 kg of neem leaves and five kg (jaggery) “.
He further added, “Amritam Gau does not only help increase soil productivity but also plant growth enhancers”.
This product has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties too.
He also claimed that Amritam Gau would not endanger earthworms that increased soil productivity.
“Often, chemical-based pesticides do not only kill earthworms but also proven to be dangerous for humans because of chemicals in it,” said Bajpai.
“The urine of the cattle and Pesticides Dung will also increase soil productivity,” he added.
VHP-based Gaushlas, after the production of disinfectants (phenyl-based cows) and cow dung cakes (gomaykhand for Puja and Yajna purposes), have worked on pesticide production with the help of cows, dirt and neem urine.
Interestingly, the wing of Gum Raksha from VHP also interacts with thousands of farmers at the village and block levels, holding meetings throughout the state and told them about the efficacy and value of “Gau Amritam”.
After accessing the response, Gaushalas plans to open outlets in many parts of the country to sell natural and biological pesticides.
“We have also been wearing a plan to promote ‘Gau Amritam’ in Magh Mela who will come on the edge of the Ganges January next year,” said Rakesh Shukla.
