Uttar Pradesh: Gnida Eye Rs 800 CR from the scheme to distribute industrial plots

Lucknow: The authority of the development of the Great Noida Industry has launched a scheme to provide industrial plots to investors.
“Allotment for land will be carried out through interviews or lottery in the first week of November based on the application received until October 31.
With this allocation, the authority is expected to sweep around RS 800 Crore and provide employment opportunities for around 3,000 people,” said a senior official.
CEO of Greater Noida Narendra Bhushan said that the industrial plot will be allocated in the Ecotech-10 Authority, Ecotech-One, One Extension, Ecotech-8, Ecotech-6, Ecotech-11 and 16 sectors.
The non-polluted green category industry can be set on this plot, starting from 450 square meters to 20 hectares.
“Gnida has decided to establish eight new industrial sectors to meet investor demand.
To facilitate this, the process of purchasing around 900 hectares of land has begun.
In 2020, the plot ranging from 1,000 square meters to 20 hectares was given to 48 investors,” Bhushan said.
The source said that in the past 4.5 years, 391 investors from all over the country and abroad have bought land under the larger Noida Authority to establish a factory.
These projects have brought investment to the Tone of Rs 26,530 Crore.
These include Chinese companies such as Oppo and Vivo, Hiranandani and Air Inox Groups etc.
