Gorakhpur: The Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister on Wednesday registered the achievement of the state government in terms of new airports, expansion and their improvement.
“From 1947 to 2014, there were only two airports in the state – one in Lucknow and the others in Varanasi.
Today, up has direct air connectivity with 75 locations and the number only rises that day,” Yogi said while speaking at the inaugural ceremony Kushinagar International Airport.
“Previously, the country was connected by air with only 15-16 cities, and now the 9th airport in Kushinagar has become functional.
Uttar Pradesh has a direct flight for 75 major cities in the country.
The work is ongoing for 11 new airports and works at the airport International in Ayodhya and Noida continued with war footing, “CM said.
“This international airport will be very important not only for Kushinagar and east, but also for West Bihar and neighboring Nepalese.
This will strengthen tourism opportunities, employment and investment,” CM said in Kushinagar.
While welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi on that occasion, CM said that the lucky country had the maximum number of places related to the Buddha Lord, including the capital of Kapilvastu; Sarnath, where the first sermon; Shravasti, where he spent four months; Kaushambi, where Lord Buddha lives and preached in the sixth year and nine years of theft of his enlightenment and Kushinagar, where he took Mahaparinirvan (leaving a worldly body).
“PM Modi connects all places on the Bouddha circuit.
These places have great value and faith for followers of Lord Buddha,” said Yogi, added, “at the United Nations, PM Modi said that other countries gave war to the world and India gave Buddhism .
“Even though East is still ignored after independence, now with new developments in Kushinagar, five crore people in the area will experience positive changes, he added.
During his speech at the Temple of Mahaparinirvan at Kushinagar on the occasion of Abhidhamma Day, Yogi said, “Kushinagar has given a message of love and friendship at the international level.
