Uttar Pradesh: HC Looking for Status Reports About Magisterial Probes Become Casganj Death Cases

Prasagraj: The High Court of Allahabad on Thursday seeks a status report on the Magisterial Investigation ordered to the death of a young man, Alf, Alf, in police custody in Kotwali Police in Kasganj Regency Uttar Pradesh on November 9, 2021.
Hearing the writing petition submitted by one Miyan Chand , the father of the deceased, the division bench consisting of Justice Anjani Kumar Mishra and Deepak’s justice Verma directed the government to submit a status report on the investigation carried out by the judge on February 8, 2022.
The Petitioner has asked the court to direct the investigation bureau (CBI) to take over the case investigation The death of this custodian and to continue with all the police officers concerned and other people found involved.
In addition, the court was also asked to direct the Constitution of the Special Investigation Team monitored by the court (sitting) to take over investigations and also to continue against all police officers concerned and other people found involved.
Apart from the above, the applicant asked the court to direct the state government to provide compensation for RS 1 Crore or this number because this court can be considered to be suitable for the applicant for their failure to prevent the death of the Petitioner’s son’s customers and also to forward the appropriate orders or instructions for ensuring The security and protection of applicants and family members during the suffering of Writ petition before this high court.
The Petitioner, Chand Miyan, who is Altaf’s father, has argued that he has no confidence to the state police and his investigation into this issue.
Therefore, he has submitted a request for an investigation by the CBI or the investigation monitored by the court.
The temporary application was also submitted before the court looking for the second post-Mortem of Altaf, along with CCTV footage from the police station, where the incident occurred.
Previously, on November 10, 2022, the Administration of KasGanj Regency had ordered a magisterial investigation into the alleged death of the Alf Custodian.
But the police claimed that he had committed suicide in the Kasganj station toilet.
Based on the question, five police are suspended.
Furthermore, on December 23, 2021, the High Court had ordered the police supervisor, KasGanj to submit Affidavit against this problem.
After finding that there was no statement submitted on February 2, the court had warned the Kasganj police supervisor to submit a written statement the following day, failed which would force a severe fine.
On Thursday, the government advocated for the court that the written statement was submitted, but had not yet come in the note.
Thus, the problem was postponed.
