Jaunpur: A man was arrested here on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to blow up two police stations, officials said.
Lakshmi Kant DuBey threatened that he would blow up two police stations if the road between Rampi and Kathvatia was not repaired in October, police supervisor (SP), said Ajay Kumar Sahni.
The defendant posted a notification at the Rampur and Suri police station board, the officer said.
Initially, a case was registered in this matter against an unknown person, police said, adding Dubey was then recognized as a man behind the crime.
