Jhansi: City got the first set of buses operated with the battery on Tuesday with twenty more buses to be followed in the coming days.
The initiative to provide this bus was taken under the ongoing City City project.
The buses were marked by many fans from the electronic filling point in the Kochabhawar area by Jhansi MP, Anurag Sharma in front of the Mayor, Ram Teerar Singhal and MLA Ravi Sharma.
Buses will run in urban and rural areas in districts which include Babea, Mauranipur, train stations etc.
For the first time the city population will enjoy city bus trips that tend to relieve their daily trips.

The government will sanction more buses in the future after seeing the profitability of running this bus, he added.
Ravi Sharma, MLA from the city said the new bus besides helping daily commuters will also help fight global warming by cutting pollution levels.
