Kanpur: A woman in a Mirzapur district, who accused relatives in the traffic police suspected of raping him and made a obscene video, trying to die because of suicide but saved, said Deputy Commissioner Pramod Kumar Kanpur.
Speaking with Ani, Kumar said that the woman had twisted 112 Helplines and then jumped into the river.
“Boatmen and divers are present in the ganga in that place saved the woman because of sank,” he said.
“In the complaint of the woman, the police began an investigation by registering a case against TSI and her son,” he added.
According to Kumar, the defendant has been identified as TSI Giraja Singh Tiwari and the woman accused him of being suspected of attacking him and then recording obscene videos.
“The victim had told us that the uncle who was accused of accusing him to call him to Kanpur on September 10 and then he allegedly together with his son attacked him”, said Kumar.
“Bored with the antics of the defendant, the victim tried to commit suicide by jumping to Ganga after reaching Jajmau Gangapul, at the end of the week,” he added.
According to Kumar, a case has been registered against TSI Giraja Shankar Tiwari and his son Amit Tiwari in a complaint of women at the Choke Police Station, Kanpur.
“The woman has been sent for medical examinations and police have begun an investigation into the accusation leveled by the woman.
