Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh reported 133 cases of Covid-19 and single fatality on Friday, encourage the calculation of state infections to 17.06.384 and the death toll became 22,616.
Death alone was reported in Etawah, said the state government in a statement.
Eleven cases each reported from Lucknow and Allahabad, nine of Varanasi, seven of Ghaziabad and six of Gorakhpur.
A total of 228 Covid-19 patients recovered more from disease in the state, took the number to 16,81,208 so far.
Counts of Covid-19 cases are active in the country now standing at 2,560, the statement said.
There are no new cases reported from 24 countries, while 49 districts report new cases in one digit.
More than 5.83 crore samples have been tested for Covid-19 in the state, including more than 2.70 lakh on Thursday.
