KANPUR: Three guys abducted a groom-to-be and threatened to take him in the’Shaadi-Mandap’ when he didn’t violate alliance with the girl hailing on their village. Jugal Kushwaha, the groom-to-be,and a resident of Shahpur neighborhood, soon brought the issue into the understanding of the girl’s family members that approached the authorities looking for security cover to its D-day. The episode was reported by Bindki Kotwali police region of Fatehpur district Thursday, authorities said. “Jugal, whose union was solemnised with the woman from a nearby village May 29, was abducted by three motorcycle-borne guys and taken into a orchard on late Thursday night. They threatened to take him in the’mandap’ when he did violate the alliance with this girl. They forced him to make a phone into his prospective in-laws and communicate to them that he’s no more interested in devoting their daughter. Afterwards, they introduced the guy in a barren spot and fled”, the authorities said. Even the Bindki Kotwali police have booked the accused under different parts of the IPC and a hunt is underway to detain them. Inspector Kotwali Ashutosh Kumar Singh, who’s the investigating officer in the case, said that the authorities would provide security pay to the complainant about the afternoon of his union. They had been looking for the accused who had fled their houses and were all on the run. “Police could be set up in the’Shaadi-Mandap’ on May 29, the day that the person’s union is to be solemnised,” Singh added.
